We spent $300,000 in CAF Champions League preliminary games – Medeama SC boss Moses Armah-Parker

Medeama SC President Moses Armah-Parker revealed that $300,000 was spent on the two preliminary games in the CAF Champions League.
The Ghana Premier League faced Remo Stars of Nigeria in the first round of preliminary games.
The Yellow and Mauve faced Guinean club Horoya AC in the second round.
Medeama SC will play in the CAF Champions League group stage for the first time in their history after defeating Horoya 4-3 on aggregate.
The Tarkwa-based club completed an impressive debut campaign in the CAF Champions League to secure a place in the competition’s group stage.
Mr. Armah-Parker, a former Black Stars management committee chairman, stated after the club’s qualification to play in the group stage that $300,000 was spent on the two games played.
“We spent USD300,000 in our two games against Remo Stars and Horaya AC to qualify for this year’s CAF Champions League group stage,” he said.
Meanwhile, Medeama SC will now focus on the Ghana Premier League match against Nations FC.
