Ghana Movie Industry Has Not Slowed Down – Nikki Samonas

Sensational Nikoletta Samonas, also known in the entertainment industry as Nikki Samonas, a Ghanaian actress and freelance model, believes that the Ghanaian film scene has not slowed down.
According to her, the film industry has evolved and adapted to changing times. She acknowledged that the industry has faced challenges over the years, particularly during and after the COVID-19 pandemic, but she was quick to add that the challenges have instilled a spirit of resilience in Ghanaian filmmakers.
In a recent interview, Nikki stated that the movie industry is doing better than before because it now receives various forms of support from investors who assist in marketing the films. She also stated that the music industry is doing better than the movie industry because music is noisier and louder than movies.
“No, it is now up. I mean, it was really hard after COVID. In fact, it was really hard after COVID-19 because it was difficult for us to come back,” she said. “But now, with a lot of corporate investment and investors, especially Akwaaba Magic and others, coming on board, we are on our feet. Because we are now used to the digitalization of marketing movies, we have picked up. It has not slowed down.”
