Asante Kotoko: My players need encouragement – Prosper Narteh Ogum

Asante Kotoko head coach Prosper Narteh Ogum has admitted that his players require motivation.

The Porcupine Warriors are winless after three games in the 2023-24 Ghana Premier League season.

Kotoko has two draws and one defeat, putting them in 17th place on the table.

Speaking after his team’s 1-1 draw with Karela United on Sunday, Ogum stated that the performance of the Kotoko players is improving and that the club will start winning soon.

“We need to encourage them that it is better to create chances, even if you miss, than not to create at all.” “If you create, you have a high chance of scoring, and if you look at our first game up until now, we are creating more,” Ogum told Happy FM.

“We created fewer chances in the Heart of Lions game; we created more chances in Bibiani, and today we created about twice as many chances, which is a good sign for the team,” he added.
